So why did we choose the name Milestones MK?

Let’s start with the “Milestones” part first:

Reflecting on my successful 30-year executive career, the achievements that stood out most in the mind were the major milestones delivered.

Career milestones such as significant capital investment projects, company acquisitions, product launches, new market entries, raising new finance, restructuring, profit enhancement initiatives and leading successful business exits. As well as 15 years as a board-level director.

And while each business was different, the common theme was achieving milestones that delivered positive change and created significant value.

Each milestone was challenging and exciting in equal measure. And it struck me that I could take that know-how to define growth strategies and deliver milestones for other businesses. Doing what I enjoy most, becoming a trusted partner to ambitious businesses who want to progress. Providing my experience and adding capacity to complement their business.

So, at Milestones MK, we decided to provide my services on a fractional basis – as a Part-Time Executive rolling the CEO and CFO in me together – all in one!

The MK part?

Short answer this one – we are proudly based in Milton Keynes, providing easy access to Central London and Northern Home Counties.
